Want to know who attended your event? Our Attendance Verification feature enables you to track attendance by scanning a user’s Guidebook ID or having them scan a check-in QR code themselves. You can also manually type in an email address to record attendance. Then, you can view or export a list of checked-in event attendees. This feature allows you to easily collect accurate data on who attended your event, saving your staff valuable time – and paper!
You can also track attendance for specific schedule sessions. Learn more here.
Scanning Attendee Badges
Staff Set-Up
Guide Administrators and Attendance Managers can check in event attendees using the app. Learn more about inviting team members here.
Simply log in to your account in the app. In the navigation menu, you will see a special Admin Tools module.
Guide attendance verification is automatically enabled. Simply create an attendance record by (a) scanning an attendee’s Guidebook ID QR code or (b) by typing in their email address manually.
End-User Set-Up
The easiest way for your attendees to get credit for event attendance is to log in to the app and display their Guidebook ID QR Code. This is a digital badge users can use for attendance verification and to network with one another. Learn more about User Accounts here.
End-User Self-Scanning
Staff Set-Up
To accelerate check-in, Guide Administrators can enable end-user self-scanning. Then, export the QR Code for the guide so attendees can check into the event overall themselves.
End-User Set-Up
If the event staff have enabled end-user self-scanning, users simply need to scan the QR code they provided for event check-in. Learn more about the end-user self-scanning experience here.
Accessing Attendance Records
Guide Administrators can manually add Attendance Records in Builder under Audience Management. This is also where attendance records can be viewed and exported easily. Learn more here.
