Before publishing a guide—either to the Guidebook app or to your own Branded app—it will need to be activated on one of our paid plans. You can find information on all of our plan options on our pricing page.
If you’ve already purchased a guide but you’re still seeing a notice, there are a few things that could be the cause:
- You could be working on a different guide. When a guide is purchased with the assistance of our account management team, we’ll add a paid guide to your account.
- The guide’s service term may not have started. If the guide is set to activate at some point in the future (e.g. you’re on a multi-year plan) you’ll see a plan status of “No plan • Service pending”. You can work on your guide now, but will not be able to publish until the beginning of the plan term.
