The Inbox Feature


To send messages and push notifications to your user, you must first add the Inbox module to your guide.  To add the feature, follow the steps below:

  1. Log into the Guidebook Builder.
  2. Click on the guide to which you would like to add the inbox.
  3. Click on "Build Guide".
  4. In the Drawer Menu on the left side of the screen, click the "Add Features" button.  Alternatively, you may click the Plus Sign symbol (+) from the Guide Canvas (phone view on your screen) to launch the feature menu.
  5. Find the Inbox module, and select "Add".

Once you've added the module, you're all set; beyond its name and visibility, you cannot modify the inbox feature itself from within the Guidebook Builder.  Message drafting and sending will be handled outside of your guide editor; for information, please refer to this article

Note: While the Inbox is available for all plan levels, Push Notifications are only available on premium plans and above.
