Guidebook offers a webhook API to allow customers to monitor and process metrics events in their guide. Whenever a metrics event that you are monitoring occurs, we will immediately make a POST request to your webhook with details of the metrics event.

You'll need to set up your own webhook URLs that will consume events. To learn more about Webhooks, view our developer support resources here.

Once their webhook URL is live, follow the instructions below to configure the webhook to your guide.

From Guidebook Builder, find the guide you'd like to add a webhook to, and navigate to the Integrations card on the guide dashboard.

Click on the Webhooks tab and click the Add a webhook button:

Fill out the URL and Title information:

Choose which events you'd like to monitor with that URL. There are various attendee events, guide events, and session events you can choose from.
